  • Patent number: 7520092
Abstract: A resin deck board has a top surface with a plurality of water drainage channels spaced from one another extending axially in the top surface of the board. The top surface of the board also includes a plurality of feed channels which are angled relative to and which intersect with the drainage channels. The drainage channels penetrate to a depth at least as great as that of the feed channels into the top surface of the board to promote water from the feed channels to drain in to the drainage channels which then carry the water off of the top surface of the deck.

  • Publication number: 20050204661
Abstract: A plastic panel assembly is formed by least first and second plastic boards secured at an interlocked joint of the boards. Each of boards having an identical construction comprises a main body portion with first and second side edges to opposite sides of the board. The first edge region has a locking part extending down from the top surface of the board and the second edge region has a second locking part extending up from the bottom surface of the board. The first and second locking parts of the boards secured with one another to form the interlocked joint. The panel assembly further includes a moisture drainage channel and a mechanical fastener receiving surface separated from one another at the interlocked joint of the assembly.

  • Publication number: 20050204683
Abstract: The present invention provides a plastic panel assembly such as a plastic deck formed by at least first and second plastic boards. These boards are secured at an interlocked joint of the boards. Both of the boards have the same construction with each board comprising a main body portion having first and second edge regions to opposite sides of the board. The first edge region has a top surface which is a continuation of the top surface of the main body portion of the board. The first edge region also has a first locking part. The second edge region has a bottom surface which is a continuation of the bottom surface of the main body portion of the board and also has a second locking part. The interlocked joint between the boards is formed by engagement of the first locking part of the first edge region of the first board with the second locking part of the second edge region of the second board.
