  • Publication number: 20100155411
Abstract: A pill dispensing system, including a box with a plurality of compartments, a loader designed with loading channels sized and positioned to correspond with the compartments, an ergonomically-shaped handheld sorter, and a funneled feeder. Each loading channel of the loader is lined by two loading channel walls, said loading channel having a floor between said loading channel walls, said floor having a midline equidistant from said loading channel walls, and said floor descending from each loading channel wall toward said midline of said floor. • Patent number: 7559094
Abstract: A ventilated adjustable cap for wearing on a user's head, the cap having a crown and a perimeter band surrounding a circumferential edge of the crown. The perimeter band has a forehead offset, which projects from the remainder of the perimeter band such that the forehead offset generally does not contact the user's forehead. The forehead offset promotes evaporative cooling of the user's head by permitting ambient air to pass between the user's head and the ventilated adjustable cap. The cooling may be further aided by a perforated air passage at the front side of the crown and by one or more water-retentive members. The cap may further have a torsion spring, an elastic band, or both to span at least one edge gap in the circumferential edge of the crown, opposing widening of the edge gap in the direction of the circumferential edge and help to fit the cap snugly on the user's head.

  • Publication number: 20080146363
Abstract: A teaching aid promoting better shots in golf by prompting the user to keep his or her head still. Using a downwardly extending panel, the teaching aid system as described herein provides and/or enhances visual cues to the golfer so that he may keep his head in a still or relatively still position while making the shot. Such shots may particularly include the putt, but may also be applicable to the chip and the drive. A variety of embodiments provide multiple means by which the present system may be implemented. The descending panel may be folded into an invisible, unobtrusive, and/or unobstructive configuration that may either be incorporated into a hat or removably detachable from it.

  • Patent number: 7309295
Abstract: A golf club head for a chipper or wedge provides a large striking area as well as selectable weight distribution. Using a flared hosel coupled to a lobed or large blade, the body supporting the blade provides both a concave sole for selectable bounce upon manufacture as well as an open interior cavity having an enclosing lid enabling the permanent or removable fixation of weights for selectable weight distribution. A concave cavity within the sole allows for the passage of dirt, sand, or other material to enable better golf shots.

  • Patent number: 7309297
Abstract: A weight system for a golf club. The golf club has an impact head, which is swung by a golfer to strike a golf ball. The weight system has at least one cavity within the impact head of the golf club; a plurality of weights, shaped and dimensioned to slidingly fit within the cavity; and a top plate on an upper surface of the impact head, the top plate covering the cavity to prevent the weights from dislodging from the cavity. The top plate is removable to provide access to the cavity for the insertion or removal of the weights.

  • Publication number: 20070243949
Abstract: A golf club face configuration having a series of recesses filled with polymer. The recess-polymer-golf club face material construct then allows better traction on the golf ball when the golf ball is struck by a putter or other club implementing the golf club face configuration set forth herein.

  • Publication number: 20070129163
Abstract: A customizable putter provides a platform having removable and adjustable weights. A customizable putter for golf is achieved by providing a platform with an embodiment having a vertical face portion and rearwardly extending flange portion attached to the bottom of the face portion. Weights may then be removably attached by threaded screws or bolts. The weights may have cavities within them into which weighted inserts may be fitted to provide further adjustment to the weight distribution and overall weight of the putter head. Such inserts, as well as the weight cavities, may take a variety of geometrical shapes and sizes.

  • Publication number: 20070123364
Abstract: A method for enabling golfers to hit golf balls reliable and selectable distances. Using a golf club handle grip having bands, other markings, tactile indicators, or otherwise, by selectably gripping the golf club at pre-indicated positions and by using the same swing or a set of related swings, the golfer can strike the golf ball in a predictable and reliable fashion in order to propel the golf ball away from the club a reliably predictable distance. Some calibration may be necessary, however by altering the effective length the shaft in a predictable and uniform manner, the golfer can achieve with the handle aid of the present invention a possibly significantly improved golf game and more reliable golf shots with a wedge or otherwise.

  • Publication number: 20070117646
Abstract: A recess for a golf club head providing the opportunity for better shots as torque and/or twisting is reduced between the hosel and the golf club head's center of mass. At the point where the hosel of a golf club connects to the golf club head, a recess may be provided that reduces the distance between the interconnection as well as the center of mass of the golf club head. The connection is then sunk into the golf club head to a certain degree thereby eliminating the common distance that occurs when the hosel is merely attached to the top of a golf club head. By reducing torque and/or twisting, shots with a golf club head having a recess may be more predictable, reliable, leading to a better golf game. Additionally, a flared golf club hosel is disclosed.
