In some embodiments, the panel assembly includes the following: a sheet of material having top, bottom, and side edges forming a perimeter of the sheet, the sheet having a sheet thickness that is less than each of the first slot width and the second slot width; and a frame disposed along at least a portion of the perimeter of the sheet, wherein the frame includes a bracket having a base portion with a substantially triangular cross-section, the base portion being disposed along edges of the sheet, the base portion defining a channel for capturing edges of the sheet, the channel being positioned at an apex of the base portion.
