The method includes causing a display of a currently selected thumbnail in a first rectangular area overlaying a bidirectionally scrollable strip of thumbnails in a second rectangular area having the plurality of thumbnails logically arranged in order according to their associated time positions and responsive to data reflecting a swipe gesture in a direction, causing an update to the display of the bidirectionally scrollable strip of thumbnails to reflect inertial scrolling in the direction, where the currently selected thumbnail in the first rectangular area is updated each time the bidirectionally scrollable strip of thumbnails has scrolled past a threshold such that the currently selected thumbnail in the bidirectionally scrollable strip of thumbnails is no longer closest to the center of the first rectangular area.

Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms are disclosed for generating and causing display of graphical interfaces which include a new interface element used to intuitively display status information related to video content items across many different types of interfaces and across many different types of client electronic devices and associated display screens. The described interface element comprises a circular status icon including a status ring that can be used to display, among other possible information, an airing progress of a video content item and a user's playback progress of a video content item. The circular status icon described herein provides a compact and consistent way to represent multiple types of status information, thereby enabling the same interface element to be used across many different interfaces and display devices in a consistent manner.

Abstract: A method performed by an electronic device for displaying a transition from a seek request within a video to playing the video. The method includes causing a display of a thumbnail from a plurality of thumbnails, where the thumbnail is associated with a time position in the video, and where the display of the thumbnail is sized to fill less than all of a display area. The method further includes performing the following responsive to a user input reflecting a seek request: causing a display of a transition from the thumbnail to an expanded version of the thumbnail sized to fill the entire display area and causing playback of the video in the display area starting from the time position in the video associated with the thumbnail responsive to a determination that a threshold amount of the video has been buffered.

Abstract: A wireless portable video monitoring system comprises at least one (1) portable color video camera with audio content, further having a mounting means. Each camera is provided with an integral transmitter capable of broadcasting the acquired data using a radio signal. The system further comprises a portable video monitor having a display capable of split screen operation. The monitor is also provided with a mounting means. Each camera wirelessly transmits its signals to the monitor. The system is particularly useful for viewing occupants in a rear area of a vehicle by a motorist.

A computer has a display for an interface screen. The e interface screen displays a list zone of available selectable tests for the cement slurry dispenser and corresponding global selection choices, a detail zone, wherein in response to selection of one of the selectable tests from the list zone, substeps of the selected one of the selectable tests is displayed a local activate button configured to commence only the selected one of the selectable tests displayed in the detail zone; and a global activate button configured to commence all of the selectable tests in the list zone that are indicated as selected by the corresponding global selection choices. The computer implements the tests on the cement slurry dispenser.

Abstract: A system for treating emissions from a vehicle includes an ozone generator, a first holding tank, and an exhaust vent. The first holding tank is downstream from the ozone generator and defines a volume for liquid waste beneath a void space. The exhaust vent is downstream from the first holding tank and outside of the vehicle. A supply conduit connects the ozone generator to the void space of the first holding tank. An exhaust conduit connects the void space of the first holding tank to the exhaust vent. The ozone generator, supply conduit, void space of the first holding tank, exhaust conduit, and exhaust vent establish a thermal driving head from the ozone generator through the void space of the first holding tank to the exhaust vent.

Abstract: A system and method for facilitating the locating and hiring of service providers is provided. In an embodiment, a social networking server provides an interface for users of social networking accounts to create service request. When the social networking server computer receives a service request for a particular type of service provider, the social networking server computer identifies service providers of the particular type and sends the service request to the service providers. In response to receiving an indication that a particular service provider is available to fulfill a service request, the social networking server computer sends a message to the service requester that identifies the particular service provider and indicates that the service provider is available to fulfill the service request.

Abstract: A cementing system having an engine control module, a transmission control module, a computing device and a display. The engine control module communicatively coupled with a plurality of engine sensors. The transmission control module communicatively coupled with a plurality of transmission sensor. The computing device is communicatively coupled with the display and communicatively coupled, via at least one J1939 data link, with the engine control module and the transmission control module. The computing device is configured to receive data from at least one of an engine control module or a transmission control module, compare the received data to a list of stored codes and in response to the received data matching a stored code, causing the rendering of an alarm message associated with the matched code and/or a warning message associated with the matched code on the display.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward a pressure vacuum relief valve and a seal assembly of the pressure vacuum relief valve. The seal assembly includes a ribbed substrate disposed against a flanged seat of the pressure vacuum relief valve. The ribbed substrate includes ribs extending from a base of the ribbed substrate. The seal assembly also includes a pallet coupled to and disposed below the ribbed substrate. The pallet includes a top ring, a bottom ring, and a flexible diaphragm captured between the top ring and the bottom ring. The flexible diaphragm of the pallet is configured to seal against the ribbed substrate in a sealed position. The pallet and ribbed substrate are configured to move together away from the flanged seat when a pressure on a sealed side of the pressure vacuum relief valve exceeds a maximum pressure threshold.

More particularly, to a system and process for providing verification and validation of an individual's identity for use in the prevention of identity theft and fraud in the medical industry and the recording of all medical related treatments and record requests by authorized providers, among other features. The verification and validation, referred to as “Positive Identification (PI)” for an individual who is seeking or in need of medical diagnosis and/or treatment may include a collection of novel processes by which a person's PI may be obtained and captured in an electronic database each time a person's medical information is accessed or treatment is provided, and in full compliance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996. This may substantially prevent fraud of medical services.
