  • Publication number: 20150279157
Abstract: An computer driven apparatus for progressive betting comprising a memory, a processor disposed in communication with said memory and configured to issue a plurality of instructions stored in the memory. The instructions issue signals to receive a first entry from a user corresponding to a TO WIN value, receive a second entry from the user corresponding to a Decimal Odds (Dec.Odds) value, convert the Dec. Odds value to a Traditional Odds (Tr.Odds) value using a predetermined algorithmic method.

  • Publication number: 20150279161
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for progressive betting including the steps of receiving a first entry from a user corresponding to a TO WIN value and receiving a second entry from the user corresponding to an ODDS value. Determining in a computer without intervention of the user, a BET value representative of an amount to bet for a single race entrant for an entrant race from the first entry and the second entry. Accepting the BET value and accepting the TO WIN value if the BET value for the entrant race is evenly divisible by at least one of 2 or 5. Increasing the BET value to a first nearest dollar divisible by at least one of 2 or 5 dollars if the BET value for the horse race is unevenly divisible by one of 2 dollars or 5 dollars.

  • Publication number: 20070220075
Abstract: A portable electronic device, e.g., a calculator, with the basic functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division with a dedicated program for a racing sport is disclosed herein. The calculator incorporates a progressive method of wagering in conjunction with the statistics of the sport to allow the user to calculate the amount of the wager in standard race track acceptable bet amounts on successive races in order to achieve a desired winning amount. The calculator has a processor and program, and a custom keyboard, and a sequential flashing function display which directs a user to perform step by step operations. The calculator automatically calculates intermediate results. In one embodiment, the calculator has a six line display. In another embodiment, the calculator has a scrolling three line display.

  • Patent number: 6296576
Abstract: Metal wood and wood clubs with a “swing-weight housing” using “variable swing-weights” creating a variable swingweight”, an “automatic counterbalancing” effect and “varied center of gravity” effects in addition to an increased trajectory and shot distance to the golf ball when hit. The “swing-weights” are housed in a “swing-weight housing” within the golf club cavity. On address, the club head total weight is the “swing-weights” plus the club head. On the upswing the “swing-weights” travel from the “swing-weight housing” through the hosel cavity, into the hollow shaft, coming to rest in the grip end of the hollow shaft. On the downswing the “swing-weights” reverses its travel to the club head, picking up momentum and slightly increasing club head speed.

  • Patent number: 3958903
Abstract: A positive displacement device is disclosed and includesA. a housing defining a fluid intake discharge chamber,B. a seal housing adjacent the chamber housing,C. a piston adapted to reciprocate in the seal housing and the fluid intake and discharge chamber,D. a seal adapted to prevent flow of fluid from the fluid intake and discharge chamber to said seal housing. The seal is adjacent the fluid intake and discharge chamber in the seal housing and has a first ring in positive sliding sealing contact with the piston and a second ring compressively positioned between the first ring and the seal housing to urge the first ring against the piston at a right angle to its direction of travel,E. means to reciprocate the piston in the fluid intake and discharge chamber and the seal housing, andF. a valve in communication with the fluid intake and discharge chamber adapted to allow fluid to flow into and/or from the chamber in response to the movement of the piston therein.
