    Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are disclosed for electrical power grid visualization. A computer-implemented method includes: obtaining power grid data including different temporal and spatially dependent characteristics of a power grid, the characteristics including a first characteristic, a second characteristic, and a third characteristic; and generating a graphical user interface (GUI) representing a visualization of the power grid data. The GUI includes a line-diagram representation of power lines in the power grid overlaid on a map of a geographic region in which the power grid is located, the line-diagram including a plurality of line segments, wherein attributes of each line segment represent the power grid data at a particular spatial location of the power grid.

Each electric meter is configured to generate measurement data based on measurements taken at a respective electrical load. The electrical data indicates one or more characteristics of a secondary electrical distribution system connected to the at least one electrical transformer. The method includes determining, based on the electrical data aggregated from the plurality of electric meters, one or more characteristics of the primary electrical distribution system connected to the electrical transformer.

    Abstract: An x-ray tube rotor structure wherein a target support stem has an externally threaded end portion engaged with an internally threaded surface of an encircling bushing and fixedly attached thereto by an interposed brazed joint. The stem is made of predominantly molybdenum material having a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 58.times.10.sup.-7 per degree Fahrenheit and is thermally matched with the bushing which is made of an iron cobalt nickel alloy material having a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 60.times.10.sup.-7 per degree Fahrenheit. The bushing has an outer surface fixedly attached through a welded joint with an inner surface of an annular plug which has an outer marginal portion fixedly attached to an adjacent end portion of a coaxial rotor skirt. The annular plug is made of an iron chrome nickel alloy material having a linear thermal expansion coefficient of 84.times.10.sup.

    Abstract: The invention relates to conventional metal well screens which have a screen wire wrapped about a plurality of internal support rods to define the screen slots, and particularly to a novel plastic end fitting made of a thermoplastic material which is mechanically attached to the well screen by means of a plurality of circumferentially spaced tongues which engage the inside surface of the screen wires and have a portion of their outer surface positioned within the screen slots. Slots formed in the end fitting between the tongue portions contain the support rods. A method of attaching a thermoplastic fitting made of a material such as polypropylene is also disclosed and includes the steps of heating the tongue portions so that a portion of their outer surface is melted and then is forced radially outwardly into the screen slots, and preferably slightly beyond them, by a pressure applying device such as a tapered wedge tooling arrangement.
