  • Patent number: 6695003
Abstract: A gas isolation box including an enclosure; a number of gas sticks contained within the enclosure, each gas stick including a process gas section comprising a first process gas inlet valve for gating the flow of a process gas into the gas stick; a purge gas section including a purge valve for gating the flow of a purge gas into the gas stick; and an evacuation section including a first evacuation valve for gating the exiting of a process gas or a purge gas from the gas stick, a bleed valve which in a closed position allows process gas to bleed through the bleed valve and in an open position allows purge gas to freely flow through the bleed valve, and a vacuum generator module which pulls a vacuum to evacuate a purge gas or any remaining process gas in the gas stick or the tool through the first evacuation valve and the bleed valve and out from the gas stick to an exhaust stream.

  • Patent number: 5713648
Abstract: A pharmacy carousel comprising an open cylindrical frame having a plurality of independently rotatable discs, a tray on each disc on which bulk containers of medication may be stored, and a lockout assembly which prevents a tray from rotating while it is in use. In a preferred embodiment, the pharmacy carousel further comprises a motor assembly which permits each tray to rotate independently of the other trays.

  • Patent number: 5450868
Abstract: A reversibly operated dual impeller pump which simultaneously pumps and filters wash liquid. The pump includes upper and lower assemblies. The upper assembly defines a recirculation impeller chamber and a filter chamber which are separated by a cylindrical wall. A recirculation impeller housed within the recirculation impeller chamber pumps wash liquid, a majority of the pumped wash liquid being directed toward one or more wash rotatably mounted arms while a portion of the pumped wash liquid is supplied to the filtration chamber via a hole in the cylindrical wall. A novel vane structure is provided to direct the pumped wash liquid from the recirculation impeller to the wash arm. The lower assembly includes a lower pump housing, a separator plate, and a macerator assembly. The macerator assembly includes a vertical cylindrical wall which spaces the macerator blade from a bottom of the lower pump housing to prevent damaging contact between heavy or settled material and the blade.

  • Patent number: 5429679
Abstract: An improved control program for a dishwashing machine which reduces the energy consumption of the dishwashing machine. At the end of a first wash cycle, a portion of the wash liquid, which is at an elevated temperature, is expelled from the tub by operation of a pump. The portion of heated liquid expelled has entrained therein soil filtered from the wash liquid during the wash cycle. An amount of fresh wash liquid, generally equal to the amount expelled, is added to the dishwasher prior to a second wash cycle. The wash liquid is heated prior to the second wash cycle to return the wash liquid to the elevated temperature. The present invention reduces the liquid consumption of the dishwasher, and the amount of electricity used to heat the liquid as compared to current dishwashers which completely drain following each wash cycle.

  • Patent number: 5427129
Abstract: A dishwasher has a pump mounted in the lower end of the tub to have outlet tube extending upward above the bottom of the tub. A wire rack has a fixed tower mounted on the rack with a rotatable spray tower journalled inside. A rotatable spray arm is mounted on the outlet of the pump and is moveable vertically into and out of engagement with the rotatable spray tower, with a spray arm having a downwardly extending collar carrying a seal that slides vertically on the outlet tube, while the wash arm rotates about the seal.
