  • Publication number: 20080184270
Abstract: Subscribers are notified of selected incoming events, such as fax or a memo. Subscriber profiles, stored in a database, contain data concerning at least one specified event of which a subscriber wishes to be notified and a procedure by which the subscriber prefers to be notified. When an incoming event occurs (200) data is extracted (205) from the incoming event and the database is queried (210) using the extracted data to identify at least one subscriber whose subscriber profile includes at least one item of the extracted data and the procedure by which the identified subscriber prefers to be notified (215) of the incoming event. An event notification is then prepared (220) for the incoming event in accordance with the determined procedure for the identified subscriber and the event notification is sent (225) to the identified subscriber in accordance with the determined procedure.

  • Patent number: 4557267
Abstract: A molded brassiere formed of a thin fabric includes a nipple patch or cover smoothly adhered to an apex portion of each breast cup to impart a pleasing and modest appearance. The nipple patch is sized, shaped and of an opacity to comfortably cover the nipples and surrounding areola. Further, the nipple patch is sufficiently rigid to depress the nipples, which might otherwise protrude through the thin cup fabric and, thereby, provide a smooth contour along the natural arc line of the bust. The method of making the breast cup of the brassiere is easily and simply accomplished by juxaposedly positioning a coated patch fabric onto a central portion of the flat cup fabric and simultaneously adhering and molding the fabrics at preselected temperatures to form an unitary, three dimensional breast cup including the nipple patch.

  • Patent number: 4236257
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a female undergarment having a panty portion and includes a novel crotch covering portion of two superimposed faces. Both faces are of non-thermoplastic moisture absorbent fibers, and each face has a network of openings thereon in substantially uniform array. The face in proximity to the body has a lesser degree of openess than the outer face and is slightly spaced apart from the body of the wearer during body dynamics. The two faces preferably constitute two separate layers of material. Alternatively, they may be integrally knit together as by a double knit construction.

  • Patent number: 4172382
Abstract: The present invention relates generally to the utilization of laser interferometry for performing detection of buried structures such as underground natural gas pipeline. More specifically, the invention relates to the use of a laser interferometer system for detecting leaks and similar defects, such as corrosion, in buried pipelines, pressurized containers or other metallic structures, based upon the sensing of subnanometer earth surface displacements produced by elastic waves which are emanated from the leak or defect and propagate in the surrounding earth medium.

  • Patent number: 4091819
Abstract: Improved padded brassieres in which the padding layer within the cup structure includes a batting of fibers formed together into a cohesive fibrous web, the batting having a plurality of areas devoid of fibers to provide a patterned openwork structure. The open areas are typically in the range of approximately 1/32 to 1/4 of an inch in length and width, arranged in rows of predetermined linear alignment to provide an aesthetic arrangement having porosity, strength, integrity and excellent drapable characteristics.
