  • Publication number: 20100032498
Abstract: An apparatus for marking a bale of bulk material, such as a bale of fodder having a frame defining a gap through which passes the baled material. A marking system, typically comprising of at least one spray can operates to mark the bale. One specific use of the invention is where the moisture of a bale of fodder is measured and if it exceeds a predetermined level the bale is sprayed with a can of spray paint to indicate to a person that the moisture content of the bale is higher then a set threshold.

  • Patent number: 6161233
Abstract: A chassis comprises two legs extending in parallel spaced apart relationship and a cross member connecting the two legs together. The cross member comprises first, second and third tubular members. The second member is telescopically extendible and retractable in the first member and the third member is telescopically extendible and retractable in the second member. A linear actuator is provided for extending and retracting the second and third members in opposite directions relative to the first member.

  • Patent number: 4093987
Abstract: The embodiment provides a bit position in a system control register (CR) which is set to enable, and is reset to disable, the HCA protect means. An AND gate has an input which receives the enablement or disablement signal from the control register HCA protect bit position. The AND gate also receives the store requests from the processor, and further receives a signal common to all addresses in the HCA area such as all zeros for address bits 8 through 22 to signal the first 512 bytes in main storage which in current IBM S/370 machines contains the HCA, which is also called the program save area (PSA). The AND gate is normally disabled by the CR bit and provides an inverted output to a store request gate which normally provides store requests to the processor store access controls. Writing into the HCA is only permitted under special programmed conditions when the control register bit is set to disable the HCA protect means.
