    Abstract: A foldable solar panel comprises multiple rigid cell assemblies, multiple folding cell assemblies and multiple primary flexible seams. Each folding cell assembly has two symmetric folding cell assembly halves and a flexible secondary seam. The symmetric folding cell assembly halves are adjacent to each other. The secondary flexible seam connects adjacent symmetric folding cell assembly halves and allows them to fold inward onto each other. A primary flexible seam connects a rigid cell assembly to an adjacent folding cell assembly to form an absorbing surface. The primary flexible seams and secondary flexible seams facilitate folding the foldable solar penal to a small volume to facilitate transportation or storage, and effectively keep the absorbing surface from being damaged.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for circuit interruption, with auto-power on and fault memory. The interrupter includes first and second locks in series with one another, and in series between the circuit driving source and load. The first lock is in communication with the circuit driving source. Control circuitry may be disposed between the circuit driving source and the first lock. When either lock is open the circuit is open; with both locks closed the circuit is closed. Actuating one lock does not change the state of the other lock. While closing input such as a power signal is applied to the first lock it is closed, and while the closing input is not applied it is open. When an opening input such as a fault signal is applied the second lock opens, and when a closing input such as a reset signal is applied the second lock closes.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for event-based detection of arc faults in a circuit. At least one sensor is arranged to sense anomaly events in an electrical signal in the circuit. The anomaly events include distortions of the waveform of the electrical signal. A processor identifies the anomaly events, and generates an alarm signal when the anomaly events are indicative of an arc fault. The anomaly events may include current waveform distortions and/or voltage waveform distortions. Waveform distortions may be measured indirectly; an impedance may be placed in series with the circuit, so that distortions of the current produces distortions in the voltage drop across the impedance, in which case those voltage distortions may be anomaly events. Arc faults may be identified by examining intervals such as individual AC cycles for anomaly events, then determining whether at least n of a moving series of m intervals include at least p such anomaly events.

The two pullup and pull down transistors are coupled in series between two drive transistor circuits. In one aspect of the invention, the pullup and pulldown drive transistor circuits provide momentary low impedance connection of the pullup and pulldown transistors to the respective pullup and pulldown voltage sources during the initial switching waveforms of the digital signal. After the initial switching of the digital signal, the pullup and pulldown drive transistor circuits provide precise V.sub.OH and V.sub.OL voltage output levels and provide high impedance filtering of voltage supply line and ground line noise.
