  • Patent number: 7118306
Abstract: Disclosed is a fluid, namely stormwater, management system employing a chamber having an overall substantially constant curve cross-sectional geometry, with an a-semicircular constant curve cross-sectional geometry preferred. This chamber, which preferably follows both AASHTO standard specifications for Highway Bridges, Section 18, and Corrugated Polyethylene Pipe Association (CCPA) specifications, can further comprise corregations, support members and/or connecting elements to further add structural integrity.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: May 4, 2001
Date of Patent: October 10, 2006
    Assignee: Infiltrator Systems, INC
Inventors: Kurt J. Kruger, Bryan A. Coppes, Jonathan F. Smith, Raymond Connors
  • Patent number: 7052209
Abstract: An arch shape cross section chamber for receiving and dispersing stormwater when buried beneath the surface of the earth is corrugated and has a cross section geometry which is a continuous curve. Preferably, the curve is a truncated semi-ellipse. A chamber also has a combination of a standard corrugations along most of the length, in combination with smaller end corrugation with standard corrugations, to enable joining of chambers in overlap fashion, as a string; corrugations which have elliptically curved corrugation widths when viewed from the side of the chamber; and, sidewall base flanges which have turned up outer edges in combination with fins which connect said edges with the curved chamber sidewall. A domed end cap is adapted to both close the end of the chamber and to be positioned within the chamber length to provide a baffle.

  • Patent number: 6899141
Abstract: A water supply pipe has a tubular liner of a polyolefin elastomer/plastomer installed therein. The polyolefin elastomer/plastomer includes a substantially linear ethylene inter-polymer with a narrow molecular weight distribution from 1.8 to 2.2.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: October 1, 2003
Date of Patent: May 31, 2005
    Assignee: Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux
    Inventors: Raymond Connor, Simon Daniels
  • Patent number: 6857451
Abstract: A water supply pipe has a tubular liner of a polyolefin elastomer/plastomer installed therein. To install it, a messenger pig is attached to a line that pulls the liner through the pipe. The liner is produced by extrusion and die drawing during extrusion.
    Type: Grant

  • Publication number: 20040206411
Abstract: A liner for a water supply or other pipe comprises an extrusion of an elastomeric material (10), which is extruded in a semi-collapsed multi-lobed state, and encased in a heat shrinkable film (11).

  • Patent number: 6644356
Abstract: Device for use in rehabilitation of water supply pipes includes a tubular liner (10) which is deployed through a pipe (11) for example by a line attached to a messenger pig which is propelled through the pipe. The liner (10) has a multi-lobed pleated cross-section, and is of a polyolefin elastomer material, e,g, a substantially linear ethylene inter-polymer. The liner is extruded and die drawn during extrusion to produce a reduced diameter highly oriented structure.
