  • Patent number: 4583788
Abstract: A fluid power circuit providing a selective operation of a trailer brake system, coupleable with a tractor brake system, comprises a pilot operated valve located between tractor and trailer brake system. The pilot operated valve can be put in a fluid flow passing mode from its fluid blocking mode by simultaneous engagement of two tractor brakes. An independent engagement of either of the tractor brakes, which is necessary for sharp turns in the field operation, does not actuate the trailer brake system.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 15, 1984
Date of Patent: April 22, 1986
    Assignee: J. I. Case Company
    Inventor: Raymond D. Rubenstein
  • Patent number: 4213511
Abstract: A variable displacement pump is compensated to provide a relatively constant predetermined flow of hydraulic fluid under pressure to an open-center hydrostatic steering system, as the speed of the engine driving the pump varies, and a relief valve by-passes the steering system whenever the steering system would normally reduce the flow to hydraulic apparatus connected in series with and downstream of the steering system.

  • Patent number: 4181611
Abstract: A filter thermal bypass valve has an opening defining a seat, a thermal actuator including a plunger capable of being forced toward the seat in response to increases in temperature, a spring retainer capable of movement toward and away from the seat, a rod member affixed to the spring retainer and having an enlarged head portion with a valve plate slidable thereon, a first compression spring forces the retainer in contact with the plunger and a second compression spring urges the valve plate against the seat.

  • Patent number: RE28953
Abstract: Hydrostatic transmission having a crossover which is provided with check valves. The check valves are automatically controlled by a series of power chambers that respond to different hydrostatic pressures.
