  • Publication number: 20070180773
Abstract: A single rail window regulator that uses a plate with two spaced, parallel guides that are integral to the plate. A lift member, adapted to receive a window pane, is slidably coupled to both guides. A cable is wrapped around two opposing pulleys that are mounted on the plate and a cable drum that is coupled a drive system. The ends of the cable are attached to the lift member. Activating the drive system moves the lift member along the rails.

  • Patent number: 5318307
Abstract: A game of skill and strategy that can be played on almost any surfaces (grass, sand, water, cement, etc.), indoors as well as outdoors. This game shows some resemblance with "tic-tac-toe". The game comprises a reception frame divided into nine squares and four groups of disks, two for each player. The squares from targets to be hit with the disks. The first set of disks is made up of at least nine disks of the same diameter, density and thickness. The second set has only three disks of a larger diameter than those of the first group. The larger size of the disks of the second set makes them harder to lodge in the target squares. This is compensated by the fact that a larger disk can remove one of the opponent's disks and take possession of the square. First, the players take turns trying to toss the small disk into the squares. After this phase, they use the larger disks to try to dislodge the opposing player's disks and gain an advantage on him.

  • Patent number: 4138901
Abstract: A belt-drive speed reducer, particularly for driving an airplane propeller from a standard automobile engine, features a protective housing attached to the motor, being supported by suitable borings 22 and 40 of the shaft of a drive pulley 10, on the one hand, turned by the motor crankshaft and, on the other hand, the propeller shaft supporting a driven pulley turned by a belt which, in section, exhibits V-shaped ribs. The bearing of the propeller shaft has on its periphery a disk eccentric with respect to the propeller shaft, the rotation of which disk in the boring of the housing regulates the tension of the belt.
