  • Patent number: 9505997
Abstract: The invention comprises a thermal power supply process for a treatment system for raw material. It also refers to a system operating this process and a facility operating said system. The process comprises steps of gasification of dry raw material containing carbon (MPCS) in a first reactor by a gaseous flow of gasification containing CO2, oxidation of gasification gases by oxygen holders in a second reactor and an activation of the oxygen holders as used during the oxidation in a third reactor.

  • Publication number: 20160298043
Abstract: The invention refers to a recycling process of a so-called gaseous flow (106) of CO2 essentially containing molecules of CO2, said process comprising the following steps: heating of said gaseous flow of CO2 at a pyrolysis temperature of the material containing carbon (104); pyrolysis of a load of a carbon-containing material (104) containing elements of carbon by said gaseous flow, said pyrolysis reducing the molecules of CO2 by said elements of carbon to produce a first gaseous flow (110) essentially containing molecules of carbon monoxide (CO) at high temperature; oxidation of said molecules of carbon monoxide (CO) by elements of oxygen (O), said oxidation producing a second gaseous flow (114) essentially containing molecules of CO2; reduction of said molecules of CO2 of said second gaseous flow (114), said reduction supplying a third gaseous flow (120) essentially containing molecules of carbon monoxide (CO). It also refers to a system to perform such a process.

  • Patent number: 9340735
Abstract: The invention refers to a process to produce H2 from biomass containing carbon. The biomass is gasified to obtain a gaseous flow essentially containing molecules of carbon monoxide (CO) and molecules of molecular hydrogen (H2). These molecules (CO) and (H2) are then oxidized by oxygen holders in oxidized state (MeO) to obtain a gaseous flow essentially containing CO2 and water steam (H2Osteam) and oxygen holders in reduced state (Me). The oxygen holders are then oxidized by water steam. That oxidation produces oxidized oxygen holders and a gaseous flow essentially containing di-hydrogen (H2). The invention also refers to a system containing the means to perform the steps of such a process.

  • Patent number: 9284854
Abstract: The invention constitutes a process and system to generate electricity from the conversion of CO2 over carbon-containing raw material. It comprises steps of gasification of the raw material containing carbon by means of a gaseous flow essentially containing CO2, wherein the oxidation of the gaseous flow obtained after the gasification by oxygen holders and the oxidation of deactivated oxygen holders as obtained. The process allows to give value to the global energy as generated by the set of these steps to feed an electricity generating system, such as a turboalternator. The invention also corresponds to a system to perform such a process.
