    Abstract: A roof is provided with a plurality of reinforcing struts spanning tile battens. The reinforcing struts are of top hat cross-section and are provided with a stepped locating tab at one end to enable a sequence of struts to be laid in stepped formation to accurately locate side channels on stepped roofing tiles.
