    Abstract: The invention relates to a hypodermic syringe with needle comprising a spring loaded needle sheath, arranged to be automatically engaged at completion of dosing, which releases to be propelled to a position covering the tip of the needle. The syringe further comprises means for breaching the medicament storage chamber of the hypodermic syringe so that it becomes unusable for intentional reuse.
