    Abstract: Acrylic polymerization systems having improved thermal stability are disclosed comprising an acrylic monomer binder, a diacyl peroxide catalyst selected from the group consisting of p-t-butylbenzoyl peroxide, 3,5-dimethylbenzoyl peroxide, and p-methylbenzoyl peroxide, and an amine accelerator for said catalyst. Several of the diacyl peroxide catalysts of the invention are novel.
