  • Patent number: 4527952
Abstract: The rim of the rotor disk has teeth formed by axial grooves. The grooves accept the bases of the blades, which are radially locked by wedges placed between the root and the bottom of the groove. The blade base is extended by a shank bearing the platform and the blade. The locking device comprises locks provided on at least part of the sides of the spindle, and housing provided in the teeth and shaped in such a way that they interact with the locks when the wedge is placed between the blade base and the bottom of the groove. According to one embodiment, the locks are formed by the portions which extend from a locking part lodged in a notch of the blade base and of the shank.

  • Patent number: 4508270
Abstract: The directable nozzle comprises a fixed part bearing at its extremity a fixed interior spherical sliding surface against which an exterior movable spherical race of a cylindrical collar comprising the movable part of the nozzle can displace itself. This race is attached to a movable exterior structure activated by a control device. The sealing structure is attached between the fixed interior spherical race and the movable exterior spherical race. The rolling and guiding apparatus comprises a fixed exterior spherical race coaxial with the fixed interior spherical race, rolling devices disposed between the fixed exterior spherical race and the movable exterior spherical race and guiding structure disposed between the movable exterior structure and the fixed part of the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 4441313
Abstract: A mounting device for mounting the exhaust casing of a turbojet engine on a rigid support structure connected with an aircraft, there being at least two flows, i.e., a primary flow in the exhaust casing and a secondary flow in a shroud which surrounds the casing and which is fastened to the support structure by a rigid ring. The device consists of a plurality of arms each having means to control its orientation.

  • Patent number: 4411589
Abstract: A ferrule surrounding the blading of a rotor is lined externally with an assembly of elements of revolution. These elements are in the form of cylindrical rings, circular rings or of tori supported between blocking elements. The assembly is formed by alternating rings made of a composite or metallic material and a winding of fibers encased in a polymerizable resin.

  • Patent number: 4363445
Abstract: A multidirectional thrust-vectoring device for a nozzle, including a fixed and pivoting part. The device includes elastic elements constituting a flexible articulation. The elastic elements form two elastic planes, the first of which is fixed on the fixed part and the second on the pivoting part. The elements are assembled in twos by means of a connecting plate and are distributed in two sets of two elements each on the periphery of the nozzle. Jacks associated with each two-set group allow the nozzle to be turned in the direction desired.

  • Patent number: 4334827
Abstract: An apparatus for attaching blades to a compressor rotor for a turbojet including a rotor drum in which holes are provided which extend radially and into which the blades are inserted. The blades include successive platform portions by means of which such draw support from the wall portion of the holes, such blades being locked radially to the drum by means of a cotter pin engaged between foot portions of two adjacent blades and pressing against the interior surface of the drum.

  • Patent number: 4274593
Abstract: An improvement in movable blast pipes for jet engines, including a fixed element joined to the engine, at the end of which fluid is ejected into a movable element pivotably mounted at the rear of the fixed element following an axis perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of said fixed element. On each side of the pivoting axis are arranged two pairs of guidance, two-way screw jacks whose bodies are mounted and joined to the movable element and include a sliding shaft joined with the middle portion of levers in turn joined at one of their ends to the movable element upstream from the junction point of the screw jacks, with the other end of the levers being joined to one end of rods whose other ends, in turn, are joined with the fixed element.

  • Patent number: 4238927
Abstract: An exchanger has at least one heat exchange matrix, forming a cylindrical ng. In other embodiments, the exchanger is formed of at least two cylindrical rings, which are coaxial with the axis of the turbine. The flows of compressed cold air and of hot exhaust gas are directed into complementary sectors of the rings. The axial sealing devices are rollers, which are parallel to the axis of the matrices and are borned by their surface on the surface of the matrices in order to form the joint. The fluid distribution housing forms a counter current heat exchanger.
