  • Publication number: 20250029244
Abstract: In some implementations, the device may include a plurality of ultrasound sensors configured to capture tomographical information of a physiological structure. In addition, the device may include an ultrasound coupling medium on each of the plurality of ultrasound sensors. The device may include a processing device configured to: apply beamforming techniques to the ultrasound sensors; capture, using the plurality of ultrasound sensors, bodily data of overlapping volumes of the physiological structure; process the bodily data to generate a vessel location model; and locate a blood vessel from the generated vessel location model.

  • Publication number: 20240156360
Abstract: Embodiments provide a blood pressure measuring device that: (a) transmits, with an acoustic transducer, acoustic energy at a first frequency towards a blood vessel; (b) first measures an electrical property of the acoustic transducer; (c) transmits, with the acoustic transducer, acoustic energy at a second frequency towards the blood vessel; (d) second measures the electrical property of the acoustic transducer; (e) determines a change in the electrical property of the acoustic transducer between the first measuring and the second measuring, the determined change corresponding to a change in reflected acoustic energy from the blood vessel; (f) determines a resonant frequency of vibration of a wall of the blood vessel as a function of the determined change in the electrical property of the acoustic transducer; and (g) generates a blood pressure measurement as a function of the determined resonant frequency of vibration of the wall of the blood vessel.

  • Publication number: 20160335727
Abstract: A system that determines the extent of damage on structures such as vehicle body panels. The system utilizes common computing devices such as a smartphone or tablet. The system compares captured images with database information and then provides a damage calculation. Alternatively the system analyzes captured images using estimated real-world dimensions obtained from object detection technology.

  • Patent number: 5023901
Abstract: A surveillance system which integrates voice identification with a passive monitoring mechanism is described. The surveillance system comprises a central station, located at the appropriate supervising authority, and a plurality of remote voice verification units, each of which is located at a designated locality for an individual under surveillance and connected to the central station via telephone lines. The central station initializes and retrieves information from each voice verification unit. Each voice verification unit conducts a voice verification test of a respective individual according to a test schedule outlined by the central station and continuously monitors the presence of the respective individual at the designated locality. The results of the voice verification tests and the physical monitoring during a defined surveillance period are transmitted to the central station periodically or on an exigent basis depending on the application.
