  • Publication number: 20230035485
Abstract: An irrigation basin includes a base, a wall extending upwardly from the base and having opposed aligned first wall portions defining outwardly extending generally horizontal contoured recesses adapted to receive corresponding portions of an extremity, opposed aligned second wall portions separating the recesses, each second wall portion extending to a contoured top surface, the recesses further extending downward forming opposed buttresses each terminating in a plane coplanar with the planar termination of the foot. At least one opening is formed in at least one upper surface adapted to receive a surgical device, and at least one groove is formed in at least one second portion extending from the top surface to the upper surface of the base. A post extends from the upper surface of the base, the groove adapted to receive a suction device, the post and corresponding portions of the groove adapted to capture the suction device.

  • Patent number: 11166750
Abstract: A monoplanar device for stabilizing and distracting an anatomical joint is disclosed including first and second shafts having engagement features that form a hinge joint with a single axis of rotation, the shafts being constrained by the hinge joint to move relative to one another only around the single axis of the hinge joint. The shafts and the hinge joint are disposed in a single plane with the single axis being about orthogonal thereto. A first clamp having a recess and a pin hole is slidingly disposed on the first shaft, and a second clamp having a pin hole is slidingly disposed on the second shaft. The pin holes are arranged to receive bone pins for insertion into bones adjacent to the anatomical joint. A distraction screw disposed between a threaded partial bore of the first shaft and the recess rotates to advance the first clamp along the first shaft.

  • Patent number: 10973550
Abstract: An adjustable dynamic distraction mechanism connects proximal and distal components of a fixator system to enable adjustment of the distraction between proximal and distal bones of a joint and fixation thereof. The device is dynamic in that once fixation of distraction is set, the distal portion of the anatomy may be permitted to move essentially freely to flex and extend by rotation at the natural axis of the joint.

  • Publication number: 20200246193
Abstract: A conformable adhesive bandage is disclosed including a central body, a plurality of bandage limbs including an adhesive coating disposed on a first side of the conformable adhesive bandage, and a plurality of flexion sites, each of the plurality of flexion sites inflecting inward into the central body or the plurality of bandage limbs. In one embodiment, the plurality of flexion sites is disposed at a plurality of vertices along the central body between adjacent bandage limbs of the plurality of bandage limbs, the plurality of flexion sites inflecting radially inward at the plurality of vertices into the central body. In another embodiment, is the plurality of flexion sites includes a plurality of central body flexion sites disposed at a plurality of vertices along the central body between adjacent bandage limbs, and a plurality of bandage limb flexion sites disposed along at least one of the plurality of bandage limbs.
