  • Patent number: 5562222
Abstract: A temporary cover for electrical outlet boxes provides for sealing such boxes during the finishing stages of building construction, for plastering and wallboard work on interior walls and the like. The cover comprises a very thin sheet of continuous, unbroken material having an inwardly extending flange which is sized to frictionally engage the inner surfaces of the walls of the outlet box. The cover is pressed into place in the box opening, and plastering or wallboard joint compound work may be performed without possibility of contaminating the electrical box with plaster, wallboard joint compound, or similar materials, and/or possibly completely filling the box with the subsequent problems of locating the concealed box and/or accessing wiring or other components therein which have been covered by plaster or other material. The cover may be removed easily by an inwardly protruding grip, and may be economically discarded after a single use due to its construction of thin vacuum formed plastic or the like.

  • Patent number: 5547098
Abstract: A system of trays and inserts placed in each tray is disclosed, for converting a bucket to an organized receptacle for storing and dispensing small parts or objects. Trays are circular, and are stacked within the bucket. Each tray has low partitions, dividing the tray into pie slice segments. An insert is placed in each segment. Inserts have constricted necks, enabling them to be grasped readily by the fingers of a user, even when the insert is filled with small objects. An individual tray is thereby readily removable, even if filled with small parts, independently of neighboring inserts. Inserts are optionally provided with tightly fitting caps. Both trays and inserts are provided in variable vertical dimensions. Two short inserts or trays occupy the same height within the bucket, as a single tall insert or tray. Alternative trays include removably installable, radially disposed partitions therein, providing for variable volume for the various areas of the tray(s).

Both trays and inserts are provided in variable vertical dimensions. Two short inserts or trays occupy the same height within the bucket of a single tall insert or tray. Thus, the bucket is selectively reconfigurable to provide a desired combination of inserts and trays.

  • Patent number: 5154303
Abstract: Inserts and a remover are disclosed for use with containers such that the interior space of the container is utilized in the most efficient way. The inserts are sectioned off so that each insert has a plurality of sections. The inserts are further designed with a cylindrical center and outer section that are conical in nature. Each center section includes a cross section for removing the inserts from the container. Further disclosed is a handle for aiding in the removal of the inserts.

  • Patent number: 4881325
Abstract: An anti-static assembly for clothes dryers and like appliances includes contact members attached to the dryer vanes or forming the vanes themselves and which are electrically attached to a conductive band rotating with the dryer drum. Static electricity which builds up in the drum when drying clothes is conveyed from the contact members to the band where a pick-off apparatus collects the charges and conveys them to a ground point such that static charges are continuously neutralized by the assembly.
