Abstract: A fire effect appliance which utilizes a bowl to which is to be supplied a flammable gas. The internal chamber of the fire bowl includes a diffusing device which is to function to evenly distribute the gas throughout a particulate matter contained within the internal chamber of the fire bowl. The fire bowl can be placed on a freestanding stand or mounted within a table. A fan and shroud can be mounted in conjunction with the fire bowl for the purpose of propelling the heated air exteriorly of the fire bowl so the appliance can also function as a heater.

Abstract: A water activated chiming device wherein a clapper floats on a stream of water spiraling upwardly out of an open upper end of a vertical pipe so that the clapper is randomly turned and moved laterally by the water to strike adjacent chime elements.

Abstract: A passenger seat belt assembly to be utilized in conjunction with a passenger seat of a vehicle such as an automobile. The passenger seat is mounted alongside of a door through the body of the vehicle. The seat belt assembly utilizes two separate belts, the outer end of both belts being fixedly mounted to the door. The opposite end of each belt is fixedly mounted onto a pistol grip latching handle. This latching handle is to be connectable either with a female latching device mounted on the door or a female latching device located across the passenger seat.
