    Abstract: A supplemental refrigerated element comprising a refrigerant reservoir and a condenser operatively connected to the reservoir. The condenser has a heat exchanger operatively connected thereto which condenses the refrigerant therein. An evaporator is operatively connected to the condenser. The evaporator is positioned below the condenser in which refrigerant circulates under the influence of gravity. In a specific embodiment, the evaporator may be formed into a panel or a shelf to provide supplemental cooling to a refrigerated space.
