    Abstract: This invention relates to a method for disinfecting or sterilizing medical, surgical, dental instruments or other objects in liquid phase with improved sporidical compositions. The method object of the invention is based upon the synergistic effects observed when combining nonionic and anionic surfactants with aqueous or alcoholic glutaraldehyde solutions. The method can be used also with ultrasonic irradiation over a wide frequency range (10 to 850 kHz). Two types of particularly effective synergistic sporicidal compositions are also described.
