  • Patent number: 10735876
Abstract: The present invention proposes a method for determining hearing device features which are useful to an individual user of a hearing device (1). According to the proposed method a received input sound signal is automatically classified according to N sound classes. An overall usage quantity is then determined for each sound class from logged usage quantities of each sound class. Useful hearing device features are then determined, which are suitable for processing an input sound signal associated with sound classes having an overall usage quantity that exceeds a minimum overall usage quantity. Subsequently, providing the determined useful hearing device features in the hearing device (1) is suggested to the fitter and/or user of the hearing device (1). In a further aspect of the present invention a hearing device (1) with a classifier (7) and a logging unit (10) adapted to log usage quantities for identified sound classes is provided.

  • Patent number: 10708325
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for implementing destination and source group-based routing are disclosed herein. Systems include transmitters configured to transmit media streams that are packetized streams of data. Each of the transmitters is implemented on one of a first plurality of physical nodes included in a first node cluster. The transmitters include encoders configured to generate the plurality of media streams. Systems include receivers configured to receive the media streams. Each of the receivers is implemented on one of a second plurality of physical nodes included in a second node cluster. The receivers include decoders configured to receive and decode the media streams. Systems include a controller configured to generate a first grouping for each node cluster based on node characteristics and cluster parameters, generate a second grouping for each node cluster based on grouping parameters, and route the media streams based on the first grouping and second grouping.

  • Publication number: 20160140463
Abstract: Aspects model a set of different employee compensation adjustment factors from a locally weighted linear regression function of employee data. Retention probabilities are generated for retaining each of the employees, and employee retention costs modeled as a function of historic employee wage data, the modeled set of employee compensation adjustment factors and the retention probabilities. Costs are modeled for replacing employees as a function of the employee wage data and the historic market data, and revenues are modeled for employee productivity as a function of the retention probabilities and the historic business performance and strategy data. The modeled employee compensation adjustment factors are iteratively optimized to maximize a profit objective value determined as a function of the modeled costs for replacing employees and employee productivity revenues.
