Abstract: A golf training device for use with a swinging driver golf club on a golf ball simulating target having a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of a real golf ball and a durable turf simulation apparatus. The target unit comprises a golf ball simulating target disposed on a curved tee attached to a pivotal base. The turf simulation apparatus includes a foundation layer, stiffening layer and upper layer. The foundation layer defines an aperture which surrounds the area around the target unit. The turf simulation apparatus dampens the force of a striking golf club head for reducing damage to the club head and rebounding forces to the golfer's wrists and arms.

Abstract: A combination self-contained golf club bag/cart/shipping container combines all three functions in a single hard-shell unit. An array of downwardly converging tubes mounted in bulkheads of lightweight foamed or reticulated plastic hold the clubs, and an extendable cart with chassis, together with a towing handle is completely foldable into the orthorhombic case.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus useful in teaching tennis skills to a player and has a wand having a tennis ball attached thereto pivotally mounted on a base so as to flex when the ball is struck by a tennis racket and also has a damper assembly extending between the wand and the base so as to rapidly damp out oscillations of the wand due to the tennis ball being struck by a tennis racket.

Abstract: The present invention provides an apparatus for improving a golfer's skill at playing golf, the apparatus having a golf ball simulating target having a diameter substantially equal to the diameter of a real golf ball and means for supporting the target in a substantially upright orientation for striking by the golfer. Preferably, the means for supporting is formed of a material having shape memory retention properties such that the target will return to its rest position from its displaced position after being struck by a golf club. The supporting means is pivotally mounted to the surface to indicate direction of travel. The target may include an aperture to provide a whistle indicating a well hit golf ball and the apparatus may include a distance indicator.
