  • Patent number: 10813523
Abstract: A mop is disclosed. The mop includes a handle, an elongated shaft, a first reservoir, and a housing. Contained within the housing is a rolled cleaning fabric material cartridge, which can be pre-wetted or dry. The mop further includes one or more spray nozzles that are fluidly connected to the reservoir for dispensing a solution. A motor advances the cleaning fabric material, wherein the motor is preprogrammed to advance the material so that a completely new section of material covers the mop surface area and the used section of the material is advanced into said housing. The mop can further include a front extension on the leading edge of the housing that enables the cleaning fabric material to reach under the edge of a cabinet to increase the reach of the device.

  • Publication number: 20150101140
Abstract: The Infinity Mop is a mop that uses a set length of rolled cleaning fabric material which is attached to one side of the mop head, then passes underneath the bottom of the mop surface area and onto the opposite side of the mop head. As the cleaning surface area of the cleaning material becomes dirty, the soiled area can be advanced manually or electronically to the back compartment of the mop, while the sheet of clean fabric material is advanced onto the bottom cleaning surface area of the mop at the same time. This process is repeated until the end of the pre-rolled cleaning sheet is used up and a new cleaning roll is inserted into the mop.

  • Publication number: 20050047972
Abstract: Devices with lateral flow elements and integral fluidics are disclosed. The integral fluidics consist of injector pumps comprised of fluidic elements under instrument control. The fluidic element of an injector pump is fluidically connected to lateral flow elements and can be used to control fluid entry into containment chambers referred to as micro-reactors. The lateral flow elements comprise conductor elements that can be used for sample application and transport of analyte contained in the sample to the micro-reactor. Fluidic transport through the fluidic element of the injector pump is under instrument-control. Both the lateral flow element and the fluidic element may contain chemical entities incorporated along their length. The chemical reactions that can be used for analyte detection using the devices are described. Also described are methods of manufacture of these devices.

  • Patent number: 5597570
Abstract: The present invention relates to the development of a vaccine against schistosomiasis. It relates to a protein which includes the epitopes of the p28 protein, a poxvirus containing a gene coding for the said protein, a cell incorporating a vector for the expression of the said protein, a method for preparing the said protein, a DNA sequence coding for the p28 protein, a pharmaceutical composition, antibodies raised against the said protein and their application by way of diagnostic agents for schistosomiasis. The present invention also relates to the application of the said protein by way of an agent possessing glutathione S-transferase activity.
