Abstract: A driver-specific back-out prevention mechanism is disclosed that includes a screw and a body. A first driver can be used for coupling and decoupling the screw with the body, and a second driver can only be used for adjusting the position of the screw in the receiving body. The body includes a cavity for receiving a head of the screw, with the cavity having an inward flange. The screw includes upper and lower sockets, with a channel extending though the head from the lower socket and a lock body disposed in the channel. Engagement with the first driver allows the locking body to move such that the fastener can be inserted and removed from the body. Engagement with the second driver displaces the locking body such that the locking body interferes with the flange such that screw fastener cannot be removed from the body by the second driver.

Abstract: A transfer mechanism (20) for moving elastomeric ribbon between a first or lead-in mechanism, and a second or assembly mechanism of a ply fabrication apparatus (21) includes a shuttle means (35) for selectively engaging the ribbon, first movement means (36) for translating the shuttle (40) upwardly and downwardly with respect to the first and second mechanisms, and second movement means (38) for translation of the shuttle between the first and second mechanisms. The shuttle means includes a movable shuttle (40). The first movement means (36) includes a first support (41) rigidly attached to the apparatus (21), and a second support (45) for mounting the shuttle (40) and having an overall length less than the length of the shuttle.

Abstract: In vehicle assembly plants or storage depots, newly assembled motor vehicles having spark ignition, internal combustion engines are driven under their own power between several locations separated from each other by short distances, the engine being allowed to cool in each location. Fouling of the spark plugs is reduced by using a gasoline fuel composition (e.g., 95-98 Octane) containing a small proportion (usually 0.2-10% by volume, preferably 0.4%) of a mineral oil, e.g., engine lubricating oil.
