  • Patent number: 10104605
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for managing location-based service zones. Specifically, a dynamically sized geographic region surrounding a client device location can be created. Location-based service zones within the geographic region can be selected. If the amount of location-based service zones identified within the geographic region exceed a client-supported limit, a subset of location-based service zones are selected and sent to the client device for monitoring.

  • Patent number: 9973892
Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for a multi-provider management system for location-based service zones. The multi-provider management system can receive data associated with location-based service zones from multiple providers. A unique identifier can be assigned to each provider. The multi-provider management system can send location-based service zones from multiple providers to a client device, and can receive trigger event notifications associated with the location-based service zones. The unique identifier can be used to identify which provider to notify when receiving a trigger event notification.

  • Publication number: 20140058974
Abstract: A financial metric application running on a computational device has a client registration module, a market factor measure collection module, a synthesis module and a reporting module. A plurality of pre-qualified financial professionals submit to the financial metric application collection module market factor measures which they believe contribute to a fixed income financial instrument metric, and the synthesis module comprising the application operates to evaluate the metric against each of the submitted market factor measures to determine the contribution each measure makes to the financial metric.

  • Patent number: 8249356
Abstract: Physical page layout analysis for optical character recognition is performed. A physical page layout analysis method finds constituent parts of an image and gives an initial data-type label, such as text or non-text. Within the text data, connected components are identified and analyzed. Tab-stops are detected from groups of edge-aligned connected components. The detected tab-stops are used to deduce the column layout of the page by finding column partitions. The column layout is then applied to find the polygonal boundaries of and a reading order of regions containing flowing text, headings, and pull-outs.

  • Publication number: 20080073371
Abstract: A dispenser for a material on a roll, the dispenser having a front section connected to a back section. The front section includes a top wall and a front wall, with the top wall having a cutter such as a slide cutter or a blade, for cutting the material, and a dispenser slot for dispensing the material. The back section includes a bottom wall and a rear wall. The front and back sections are connected where the bottom wall meet the front wall such that the front and back sections can be in an open position or a closed position. A roll is place in the dispenser, in some versions on roll containment mounts.

  • Publication number: 20070215722
Abstract: A device for dispensing fertilizer into a fluid flowing in a pipe includes a fertilizer tank and a coupling communicating with the pipe. Optionally, the tank includes a pressure gauge, a sight glass, and a fill port with a fitting that engages a fitting on a cap or a funnel. In an optional embodiment, the tank and coupling communicate through an in-flow tube and an out-flow tube. An in-flow inlet on the tank receives a flow of fluid through the coupling from the pipe. Fluid flowing into the tank forces fertilizer from the tank through an out-flow outlet that communicates with the coupling.

  • Publication number: 20070169692
Abstract: A fibre unit coating apparatus includes a chamber into which an uncured resin coated fibre unit is passed. Microspheres mixed with air are fed into the chamber via ducts and apertures. As a result rapid and even application of the microspheres can be achieved, and the system allows controllable application of the microspheres by varying the rate of flow of the air/microsphere mixture. Positive pressure chambers are provided to prevent the microspheres from blocking the inlet and outlet points where the fibre unit enters and leaves the chamber.
