  • Publication number: 20240144249
Abstract: Efficiency of a mining rig is improved by altering clock speed of an ASIC. Cock speed can be modified as a function of values for (B) a block reward for mining the cryptocurrency, (R) exchange ratio of a price of a cryptocurrency reward to a currency of a country, (D) difficulty or network hashrate, and (P) unit cost of electricity used to operate the ASIC, according to the function, B×R/D?P×?E/?i+?G/?i, where for overclocking by i percentage, an effective hashrate is 1+i, Ei is a change in an amount of electricity consumed, and Gi is a degradation or economic loss of the processor. ?E/?I can be inferred from temperature measurements and historical or calculated data. A mining rig can communicate with a blockchain network via a mining pool, with information from an oracle or a centralized crypto exchange.

  • Publication number: 20240143929
Abstract: Disclosed implementations relate to using mutual constraint satisfaction to sample from different stochastic processes and identify coherent inferences across domains. In some implementations, a first domain representation of a semantic concept may be used to conditionally sample a first set of candidate second domain representations of the semantic concept from a first stochastic process. Based on second domain representation(s) of the first set, candidate third domain representations of the semantic concept may be conditionally sampled from a second stochastic process. Based on candidate third domain representation(s), a second set of candidate second domain representations of the semantic concept may be conditionally sampled from a third stochastic process. Pairs of candidate second domain representations sampled across the first and second sets may be evaluated. Based on the evaluation, second domain representation(s) of the semantic concept are selected, e.g., as input for a downstream computer process.

  • Patent number: 11971553
Abstract: Disclosed herein are techniques for providing an illumination system that emits illumination into an environment while also enabling that system to be undetectable to certain types of external light detection systems. The system includes a single photon avalanche diode (SPAD) low light (LL) detection device and a light emitting device. The light emitting device provides illumination having a wavelength of at least 950 nanometers (nm). An intensity of the illumination is set to a level that causes the illumination to be undetectable from a determined distance away based on the roll off rate of the light. While the light emitting device is providing the illumination, the SPAD LL detection device generates an image of an environment in which the illumination is being provided.

  • Patent number: 11969329
Abstract: A “dry” packaging in which a prosthetic heart valve is packaged within a container with hydrogel that can be provided in many forms. Certain embodiments include hydrogel that is preloaded with glycerol or the like. The hydrogel regulates the humidity within the container through a diffusion-driven mechanism if a gradient of humidity between the inside and the outside of the hydrogel exists. Humidity regulation is important to prevent the tissue of the valve structure from drying out. When the partially-hydrated hydrogel is present within container, which is saturated with air of a predefined humidity, the water molecules from the air will be absorbed by the hydrogel if the air humidity is high (i.e. when the thermodynamics favor hydrogel hydration) or vice versa. Various embodiments are configured to also house at least a portion of a delivery device for delivering the prosthetic heart valve.

  • Patent number: 11972539
Abstract: Techniques for generating a high resolution full color output image from lower resolution sparse color input images are disclosed. A camera generates images. The camera's sensor has a sparse Bayer pattern. While the camera is generating the images, IMU data for each image is acquired. The IMU data indicates a corresponding pose the camera was in while the camera generated each image. The images and IMU data are fed into a motion model, which performs temporal filtering on the images and uses the IMU data to generate a red-only image, a green-only image, a blue-only image, and a monochrome image. The color images are up-sampled to match the resolution of the monochrome image. A high resolution output color image is generated by combining the up-sampled images and the monochrome image.
