  • Patent number: 6110449
Abstract: Disclosed are anhydrous antiperspirant cream compositions that have improved fragrance longevity. These compositions have a penetration force value of from about 75 gram.multidot.force to about 500 gram.multidot.force and comprise (a) antiperspirant active, and (b) a perfume/cyclodextrin inclusion complex. Also disclosed are packaged anhydrous antiperspirant cream compositions which comprise (a) antiperspirant active; (b) a perfume/cyclodextrin inclusion complex; and (c) a dispensing package containing the composition, wherein the dispensing package comprises (i) a container body having an interior chamber and a dispensing end, and (ii) a perforated dome attached to the dispensing end of the container body and having a plurality of openings extending through the thickness of the perforated dome and covering from about 15% to about 80% of the total surface area of the perforated dome.

  • Patent number: 5919440
Abstract: Disclosed are personal care compositions comprising (a) from about 0.1% to about 99.85% by weight of a malodor-producing liquid carrier, malodor-producing polymer, or combination thereof, and (b) from about 0.005% to about 2.5% by weight of an odor masking base. The base comprises from about 15% to about 75% by weight of the base of an ionone perfume having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., from about 5% to about 65% by weight of the base of a musk having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., and from about 20% to about 80% by weight of the base of a highly volatile perfume having a boiling point of less than about 250.degree. C. The odor masking base of the composition helps to mask the malodor of the malodor-producing polymer and/or malodor-producing liquid carrier.

  • Patent number: 5874073
Abstract: Disclosed are styling shampoo compositions comprising (a) from about 5% to about 50% by weight of a surfactant component having an anionic moiety at the pH of the composition; (b) from about 0.025% to about 3% by weight of a cationic deposition polymer; (c) from about 0.1% to about 10% by weight of a malodor-producing hair styling polymer; (d) from about 0.0075% to about 2.5% by weight of an odor masking base; and (e) from about 25% to about 94.5% by weight water. The odor masking base comprises (by weight of the base) from about 15% to about 75% by weight of an ionone perfume having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., from about 5% to about 65% by weight of a musk having a boiling point of more than about 250.degree. C., and from about 20% to about 80% by weight of a highly volatile perfume having a boiling point of less than about 250.degree. C.

  • Patent number: 4953571
Abstract: An ash tray consisting of three containers, embedded in one another. The intermediate container is held spacedly above the centrally-bored bottom wall of the outer container, by frictional interengagement of the side walls thereof, whereby ventilation is facilitated between the walls of these latter two containers. There is a plurality of small, cigarette-engaging compartments between the inner and intermediate containers. The top edge portion of the inner container supports an upturned, radially-inturned open ring having a few radial channels, for supporting lighted cigarettes. The cigarettes may be extinguished by engagement in one of the small compartments.

  • Patent number: 4723631
Abstract: A ladder made of a rectangular main frame, spaced parallel rods interconnecting the two long side legs of the ladder, and step panels each pivotally mounted at its front corners to one rod for pivotal action within the ladder frame. A rigid link pivotally interconnects the rear corners of the step panels on each side thereof. Short lever arms also pivotally interconnect the rear portion of the side edges of the topmost step panel to the interior face of the respective side legs. Each short lever arm has a central longitudinal slot slidingly engaged by a pivot pin projecting from the frame side legs.
