Publication number: 20070255586Abstract: An exemplary method for determining the appropriateness of service provider claims for payment includes scheduling appointments for patients with service providers based on requests for services, generating appointment information corresponding to each of the scheduled appointments, and capturing service information corresponding to claims received from the service providers for payment of charges associated with services rendered by the service providers to the patients. The method further includes automatically identifying candidate appointments that correspond to a particular received claim based on a degree of similarity between the service information associated with the particular received claim and the appointment information associated with the scheduled appointments.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2006Publication date: November 1, 2007Applicant: Medical Development International Ltd., Inc.Inventors: Jason Green, Raymond Wood, Robert Snyder

Patent number: 7071217Abstract: The present invention is related to oxindole derivatives of structure (I), compositions containing the same, and methods of use and manufacture of the same. Such compounds generally are useful pharmacologically as agents in those disease states alleviated by the alteration of mitogen activated signaling pathways in general, and in particular in the inhibition or antagonism of protein kinases, which pathologically involve aberrant cellular proliferation. Such disease states include tumor growth, restenosis, atherosclerosis, pain and thrombosis, In particular, the present invention relates to a series of substituted oxindole compounds, which exhibit Trk family protein tyrosine kinase inhibition, and which are useful in cancer therapy and chronic pain indications.Type: GrantFiled: August 23, 2001Date of Patent: July 4, 2006Assignee: SmithKline Beecham CorporationInventors: Scott Howard Dickerson, Robert N Hunter, Lee Frederick Kuyper, Karen Elizabeth Lackey, Michael J. Patent number: 6661346Abstract: A safety system for a building has an earthquake detector circuit for detecting ground accelerations exceeding a threshold acceleration/frequency curve dividing safe and hazardous ground accelerations throughout a predetermined frequency range. The earthquake detector includes an accelerometer for measuring linear acceleration along an axis, and for generating an acceleration signal indicative of a magnitude of the measured acceleration. A filter circuit produces a filtered acceleration signal from the acceleration signal. The gain/frequency characteristic of the filter circuit is a reflection of the threshold acceleration/frequency curve, such that ground accelerations falling on the threshold acceleration/frequency curve yield a filtered acceleration signal having a substantially constant value throughout the frequency range.Type: GrantFiled: March 3, 1997Date of Patent: December 9, 2003Assignee: Gasguard Safety Systems, Inc.Inventors: Raymond Wood, Gary Anderson

Patent number: 5703935Abstract: A system and method for automatically processing telephone calls for alternative billing or for providing automated operator services. In one form, a call for which operator or alternative billing services are sought is routed through a telephone network to an automated operator facility. The call is accompanied by certain parameters which are indicative of the characteristics of the call. A menu of available automatic services is presented to the caller and the caller's selection from the menu is then received by the automated facility. The call parameters are used to retrieve a record containing customization features, preselected by a subscriber, which are those to be used in providing the particular service selected from the menu by the caller. The call is then automatically processed in accordance with the preselected customized features to provide the selected operator servile.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1994Date of Patent: December 30, 1997Assignee: MCI Communications CorporationInventors: Anousheh Raissyan, Kody Raymond Wood, Michael Joseph Jacobi, Linda S.
