    Abstract: Techniques are described for performing secure card not present (CNP) transactions using integrated circuit chip-enabled cards. The techniques include continually or periodically tracking a location of a user's card by a user computing device, e.g., a “smart” phone, and storing a log of datasets relating to the location of the user's card at a server device. Based on the tracking, the user computing device may alert the user via a push notification or other message when the user's card is not within a preset range of the user computing device. In addition, an authentication server determines a location of a purchaser computing device attempting to perform a CNP transaction using the user's card information, and compares the location of the purchaser computing device with a most recent location of the user's card retrieved from the log of datasets to determine whether to approve the CNP transaction.

A system may be configured to instantiate events for the user of the card with the long-range antenna. Events that are instantiated by the long-range antenna may then be executed using the short-range antennas.

The contact center control system is configured to provide an interactive call history associated with the customer's accounts with the organization. Using the call history, the customer may perform self-monitoring of calls into the contact center that access the customer's accounts, and notify the organization if any of the calls appear suspicious. The contact center control system is configured provide a user interface through which the customer may modify account access settings including changing which types of authentication methods are enabled to access the customer's accounts, and blocking account access by callers from certain phone numbers. The contact center control system may allow the customer to turn off all access to the customer's accounts via the contact center.

The chat bot is configured to, based on the user being human, determine whether the user is a legitimate customer of the organization by generating and presenting authentication challenges to the user device. The chat bot may be configured to monitor and interact with a conversation between the user and an agent of the organization during the call into the contact center.
