One method includes: performing one or more iterations of visually selecting one of the descriptive attributes to produce search results displayed on a keyboard-like user interface, wherein the search results include other descriptive attributes and medical codes; and selecting the desired medical code from the search results, wherein the one or more iterations includes (1) an order of selecting descriptive attributes and (2) a group of descriptive attributes, and there is more than one order or more than one group of descriptive attributes that can be visually selected to produce a search result. Systems and computer readable media for executing these methods are also disclosed.
