  • Publication number: 20240115078
Abstract: A food processor assembly is disclosed. An example food processor assembly includes an assembly base, a bowl base, a bow, a lid, and a blade storage container. The assembly base includes a rotary input shaft that selectively couples to a coupler of a blender base. The bowl base selectively couples to the assembly base with the rotary input shaft extending through the bowl based. The bowl includes a body and a central column integrally formed with the body though which the rotary input shaft extends. The lid selectively couples to the bowl. The lid includes a feed tube to receive food items. The lid having a first vertical orientation to selectively couple to the bowl and a second vertical orientation to selectively couple to the bowl. The blade storage container selectively couples to the lid when the lid in coupled to the bowl in the second vertical orientation.

  • Patent number: 11903523
Abstract: A food processor assembly is provided with a bowl base adapted to receive a rotary input, and an interlock. A bowl is separate from, and sized to be supported upon, the bowl base, to receive and process food products therein. A lid is sized to attach to the bowl to enclose the bowl and to interact with the bowl base interlock. The interlock of the bowl base is isolated from the bowl and the lid.

  • Patent number: 11266270
Abstract: A food processor assembly is provided with a bowl with a substrate sized to be supported upon a blender base, and a sidewall to collectively define a bowl cavity to receive food products. A planetary gear transmission is supported upon the bowl substrate with a rotary input sized to receive a blender rotary output. A first transmission rotary output extends into the bowl cavity to provide a reduced rotation from the rotary input. A blade is connected to the first transmission rotary output for rotation relative to the bowl substrate to perform a cutting operation to a food product. The blade has a first cutting edge formed adjacent the first transmission rotary output to perform a continuous cutting operation to the food products. The blade has a second cutting edge spaced radially from the first transmission rotary output to perform a sequential cutting operation to the food products.

  • Publication number: 20210186268
Abstract: A hand-held appliance having a housing with a top portion and a bottom portion that houses a motor and a temperature sensor configured to monitor the motor temperature and, if the temperature reaches a predetermined threshold, trigger removal of power until the temperature is below the threshold. The motor is controlled via a power button located on an external face of the housing. The housing includes a speed-set-button located on an external face of the housing controlling the speed of the motor and a plurality of lights corresponding to the respective speed thereof. The bottom of the housing includes a coupling portion configured to receive an attachment such as a blending assembly, whisk, frothing assembly, or other attachment. The housing further includes a sensor configured to monitor motor performance and applied load and, if the load exceeds a predetermined threshold, trigger removal of power from the motor.
