  • Publication number: 20240033113
Abstract: A stent includes an expandable tubular body formed of one or more interwoven wires, and including a plurality of anti-migration features each having a first end fixed to the tubular body and a second end extending radially outward from an outer surface of the tubular body. The anti-migration features may be formed of a closed loop of one or more of the interwoven wires extending from the outer surface of the tubular body. The closed loops may be formed at the first end, the second end and/or along a medial region of the tubular body. In some instances, the base of the loops may be a cross-over point of the wire(s) forming the closed loop. The wire(s) may be welded at the cross-over point.

  • Publication number: 20230329887
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, devices and procedures for forming flow paths within or across body lumens. In one example, a stent comprises an elongate body configured to expand between a first constrained configuration and a second unconstrained configuration. The elongate body in the second unconstrained configuration may include a first end, a second end, and a cylindrical saddle region extending therebetween. The first end may comprise a first retention member and a second retention member, and the second end may comprise a third retention member and a fourth retention member.

  • Publication number: 20230248560
Abstract: An implantable device having an expandable element, such as a balloon, exerting a radially-outwardly directed anti-migration force to hold the implantable device in place. The implantable device occlusion device may be an occlusion device configured to be inserted through a body passage. The implantable device may include a first component and a second component expandable within a lumen of the first component to exert an antimigration force against the first component. The first component may be an expandable stent coated to resist tissue ingrowth, and the second component may be an expandable balloon configured to exert an anti-migration force against the expandable stent.
