Abstract: Systems and methods for computer-based automated pre-approvals are disclosed. A system may comprise at least one processing device configured to access information from at least one database via the network interface, generate a first graphical user interface (GUI) for receiving selection of a treatment regimen, generate a first electronic message for seeking pre-approval of the selected treatment regimen based on the selected treatment regimen and the accessed information, and format the first electronic message for transmission through an application programming interface (API). The system may transmit, via the network interface and the API, the first electronic message to an insurance provider system, receive, from the insurance provider system via the network interface and the API, a second electronic message. The system may extract, from the second electronic message, approval information, and generate a second GUI for providing the extracted approval information.
