  • Publication number: 20240075895
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for crash detection on one or more mobile devices (e.g., smartwatch and/or smartphone). In some embodiments, a method comprises: detecting, with at least one processor, a crash event on a crash device; extracting, with the at least one processor, multimodal features from sensor data generated by multiple sensing modalities of the crash device; computing, with the at least one processor, a plurality of crash decisions based on a plurality of machine learning models applied to the multimodal features; and determining, with the at least one processor, that a severe vehicle crash has occurred involving the crash device based on the plurality of crash decisions and a severity model.

  • Publication number: 20230144738
Abstract: A commercial grade job site charging system is presented. The charging system may include a large container, for example a large metal box. The enclosure may be designed and configured to receive, via a temporary connection, relatively high input power, e.g., 480V, 3-phase, 60 A, for receiving a plurality of rechargeable, removable battery packs. The charging system may include a plurality of interior chargers of relatively lower power, e.g., 120V single phase, 15 A. The charging system may include a high power transformer to adapt the relatively high input power voltage to that of the lower power chargers. The charging system may simultaneously charge a plurality of battery packs, e.g., 32 battery packs.

  • Publication number: 20140289656
Abstract: Systems and methods create and use electronic content that provides objects with capabilities extended beyond those provided by traditional infrastructures. For example, if a tag-based infrastructure does not allow creating an object prior to the object being displayed, a content creator or other user may be able to define or customize a new object using script so that the new object can be created prior to being displayed. The new object may be implemented to take advantage of or otherwise use features of the tag-based infrastructure so that the new object otherwise behaves according to that infrastructure. Certain embodiments facilitate the use of objects prior to their display in environments where such use has previously been restricted or difficult. Generally, a content creation application can provide a content creator greater freedom to create, use, and parameterize objects, and/or in defining object interrelationships.

  • Patent number: 8739120
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for rendering a stage in a software authoring tool. A run-time player component is employed for rendering the stage for presenting a preview of output of a software application being authored in the software authoring tool. Thus, a software authoring tool outputs a stage which presents a preview of the output of an application being authored, such as a multimedia application. The output presentation of a multimedia application being authored in the authoring tool is rendered to the stage by a run-time player component. Thus, rather than employing code integrated within the authoring tool for mimicking a run-time player in order to generate a preview of output on the stage, embodiments of the present invention utilize a run-time player component to generate such a preview of output on the stage.
