Abstract: Disclose herein is a hydropower system for deployment in a natural body of water that has a at least one first cylindrical tube member disposed through a concrete block assembly and coupled to a turbine tunnel assembly designed to receive water from a natural body of water via gravitational forces acting on the water. At least one water intake with a vortex breaker is operationally coupled to the cylindrical tube member. At least one turbine generator assembly has a plurality of upwardly angled but non-vertical blade members extending therefrom around a central axis adapted to rotate an electric generator. At least one second cylindrical tube member is coupled to at least one injection hole member to at least one or more of a fault line, an underground water system, and a river system that impart energy to move the water back into the natural water cycle.
