Abstract: A sink stopper or plug assembly that incorporates an embedded magnet in its main body and includes a segregated magnet that is attached to the surface, rear surface, side, backside, topside or underside of a sink, basin, tub, bowl, bathtub, faucet or faucet deck plate at a convenient location for the storage of the stopper main body. The stopper configuration eliminates the need to use a chain to tether the stopper and provides for easy access when the stopper or plug is required to be utilized in the drain itself.
