    Abstract: A circumcision device is provided by the present invention. The jaws are movable between an open inoperative position and a closed operative position in which a clamping and crushing force may be exerted to promote hemostasis within the crush region. The device includes a cutting assembly capable of traversing and severing a crushed foreskin within or adjacent the crush region. The invention extends to a glans penis protector comprising a handle separable from a transverse glans penis engaging cover so that the handle can be separated from the glans penis engaging cover during a circumcision procedure.

    Abstract: Described herein is a circumcision device including a support having a glans penis locating member mountable thereto. The support is provided with at least one pillar that includes a proximal end and a distal end, the distal end being fastened to a crush plate. The pillar facilitates movement of the crush plate relative to the support. A locking device is moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position, such that axial movement of the pillar is inhibited in the locked position and enabled in the unlocked position. The locking device is at least partially hidden by the support. A blocking device is interposed between the support and the crush plate to block movement of the crush plate towards the support past a predefined point to inhibit the locking device from becoming exposed.

A cutting assembly is also provided that is rotatable about said axis relative to the crushing surface so as to be capable of severing a foreskin adjacent the foreskin crushing assembly. The cutting assembly includes a cutting blade movable between a withdrawn position and an operative extended condition in which the blade may be rotated about said axis to cooperate with the crushing surface or a foreskin located thereon.

A position of a thrust lever for controlling the engine is obtained from one or more sensors. Air data is obtained from one or more air data inputs. An air temperature data input is detected as compromised from the air data. In response to detecting the air temperature data input is compromised, a target engine rotational speed is determined based on the position of the thrust lever and at least one of altitude data and Mach number data from the air data. A rotational speed of the engine is adjusted to the target engine rotational speed to control thrust of the engine.
