Abstract: A carrier assembly comprises a supporting rack and carrier means disengageably mounted thereon. The supporting rack has a freestanding frame portion, and the carrier means has a sleeve portion which is closed at the top and the sides and open at the bottom, to provide a generally rectangular recess which is dimension and configured to correspond to the frame portion of the rack, and to slidingly and snugly receive it. The resultant assembly provides good support and stability, coupled with facility of use and manufacture, and relatively low cost.
