Abstract: The present invention is essentially a method of gathering live video and audio coverage, otherwise known as electronic news gathering (ECN) which is based on the use of a single person employing a wearable computer. A hands-free user-supported computer with an attached video camera and microphone and wireless communication capability facilitates capture and upload of live video which when routed through an HTTP server can be made available for end-users on the Internet.

Abstract: The invention is essentially an external user supported display device for personal communication devices and wireless phones. The device is worn on the body of the user and is able to display graphic images and video not able to be displayed on the displays inherent to current mobile phones. The device is designed for use in broadband wireless environments. The device is also able to output digital stereophonic audio either alone or as an accompaniment to video content.
