  • Patent number: 11396991
Abstract: A projector shield including a clear obelisk optic configured to modulate light exiting a vehicular headlamp. The clear obelisk optic comprises a base configured to sufficiently allow the passage of light therethrough, and a tip configured to refract light thereby preventing it from exiting the vehicular headlamp. The clear obelisk optic generates a light projection having a sufficiently dimmed area compared to surrounding areas.

  • Publication number: 20210345666
Abstract: Provided is an individually packaged pod for receptacles of smoking pipes and other smoking devices. The individually packaged pod may have a product, such as herbs or herb mixtures, placed inside the individually packaged pod. The individually packaged pod may include an insert, a ring, and a cover. The insert may be made of a mesh having a convex three-dimensional shape to form a receptacle for receiving the product. The ring may be connected to the insert and configured to maintain the convex three-dimensional shape of the insert. The cover may be made of a sheet material and attached to the ring to enclose the product inside the insert. Upon placing the individually packaged pod into a receptacle of a pipe, a user may ignite the cover and the product inside the individually packaged pod. Burning of the product creates smoke to be inhaled by the user.

  • Patent number: 10876699
Abstract: An adaptive driving beam headlamp includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs) aligned in a first direction. One or more projection lenses having a toric-shape are adapted for shaping light emitted from the plurality of LEDs along the first direction. A beam shaping optic is adapted to shape light emitted from the one or more projection lenses along a second direction, different from the first direction, such that a desired beam shaping pattern is produced by the beam shaping optic in combination with the one or more projection lenses. A controller is adapted for independently controlling each of the plurality of LEDs for adaptively dimming portions of a vehicle headlamp beam of light.

  • Patent number: 9336385
Abstract: A system and method for threat detection and management. The method includes: comparing the observed activity with a threat profile; generating a threat detection signal including threat information when the observed activity matches the threat profile; altering an operating characteristic of a client device in response to a threat response signal; receiving the threat information; evaluating the threat information; automatically determining an appropriate response to the threat detection signal based on an evaluation of the threat information; comparing the threat detection signal to known threat patterns; distributing new threat information if the threat detection signal does not match a known threat pattern; storing threat information; and providing a user interface information and controls for delivering control information over a control protocol.
