  • Patent number: 8844439
Abstract: A liquid transfer method includes the steps of conveying a sheet by holding the sheet by a transport cylinder, and transferring a liquid to one surface of the sheet by a transfer cylinder opposing the transport cylinder and transferring the liquid to the other surface of the sheet by the transport cylinder. The step of transferring includes the step of positioning an edge of a region on one surface of the sheet, downstream in a sheet convey direction, where the liquid is to be transferred, upstream in the sheet convey direction of an edge of a region on the other surface of the sheet, downstream in the sheet convey direction, where the liquid is to be transferred. A liquid transfer apparatus is also disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20130280411
Abstract: A liquid transfer apparatus includes a supply cylinder and viscosity reducing agent supply unit. The supply cylinder comes into contact with a transfer target body and performs transfer by transferring a transfer liquid to the transfer target body. The viscosity reducing agent supply unit supplies a viscosity reducing agent which reduces a viscosity of the transfer liquid to the supply cylinder during transfer.

  • Patent number: 7735820
Abstract: A sheet delivery apparatus includes sprockets and delivery grippers, a sheet delivery device, a switching cam, and conveyor belt, driving roller, and driven roller. The sprockets and delivery grippers hold and convey a sheet. The sheet delivery device delivers the sheet conveyed by the sprockets and delivery grippers. The switching cam is arranged upstream of the sheet delivery device in a sheet convey direction to release the sheet held by the sprockets and delivery grippers. The conveyor belt, driving roller, and driven roller are arranged below the switching cam to convey the sheet released by the switching cam in the sheet convey direction.

  • Publication number: 20070052157
Abstract: A delivery device in a sheet-fed offset rotary printing press includes a plurality of suction units, at least one discharge unit, at least one support member, and an intake source, air exhaust system, and switching device. The plurality of suction units are arranged above a pile board on an upstream sheet convey direction side below a sheet under conveyance in a widthwise direction of the sheet, and draw by suction the sheet under conveyance in slidable contact with it. At least one discharge unit replaces one of the plurality of suction units which is other than those on two ends, and discharges air outwardly in the widthwise direction of the sheet under conveyance. One of the plurality of suction units which is other than those on the two ends and the discharge unit can be mounted selectively on at least one support member.
