Abstract: An aqueous external preparation for scalp, that is directly applied to the scalp to improve the elasticity and luster of newly grown or growing hair without affecting the safety or the feeling of touch of the hair, contains the following components (a) a eucalyptus extract; (b) a blood flow enhancer; (c) an anti-inflammatory agent; (d) an acrylic acid/C10-30 alkyl acrylate copolymer; and (e) ethanol. The blood flow enhancer (b) is preferably selected from the group consisting of swertia japonica extract, vitamin E, nicotinic acid and derivatives thereof. The anti-inflammatory agent (c) is preferably glycyrrhetin or derivatives thereof.

Abstract: The invention relates to a skin cleansing sheet obtained by impregnating (c) a sheet with an aqueous composition containing (a) 1-50 wt. % of a nonionic surfactant having an HLB of 10-16 and (b) 1-30 wt. % of a polyhydric alcohol or glycol ether. The cleansing sheet has high detergency and detergent speed to smears of makeup and sebum, and low irritativeness to the skin, gives users a pleasant feeling upon use, and moreover has good handling property and stability.

Abstract: An aqueous gel cleanser composition which contains:(A) from 1 to 50% by weight of a nonionic surfactant represented by the formula (1):RCOO--(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.n --H (1)wherein RCO represents a saturated or unsaturated acyl group having 4 to 30 carbon atoms; and n represents a number of from 1 to 50 on the weight average;(B) from 20 to 70% by weight of a polyhydric alcohol or a glycol ether; and(C) from 0.1 to 5% by weight of a water soluble polymer.This aqueous gel cleanser composition has a high detergency on makeup stains and sebum stains, little irritates the skin, exhibits a good massaging effect and is usable even at high temperatures and humidity owing to its high stability.
