  • Publication number: 20200157687
Abstract: Provided is a coated aluminum material having a coating film on a surface of an aluminum material, and capable of exerting excellent corrosion resistance even under severe use conditions while being chromium-free. The coating film is formed on a surface of the aluminum material with a silica-containing film including a water dispersible silica, a phosphorus compound, and a silane coupling agent provided therebetween. The silica-containing film includes 0.5 to 35 mass % of a silane coupling agent, and has Si and P contents of 2 to 60, and 0.1 to 6.0 mg/m2, respectively, and a P/Si mass ratio of P content and Si content of 0.02 to 0.15. Further, provided is a method for producing such a coated aluminum material.

  • Patent number: 10300687
Abstract: Provided is an aluminum-resin bonded body that expresses excellent bonding strength and does not show a reduction in the strength after a durability test, thus being able to keep the excellent bonding strength over a long period of time. The aluminum-resin bonded body includes: an aluminum substrate formed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy; an oxygen-containing film containing oxygen, the oxygen-containing film being formed on a surface of the aluminum substrate; and a resin molded body formed of a thermoplastic resin composition containing a thermoplastic resin and an additive, the resin molded body being bonded onto the oxygen-containing film, in which the thermoplastic resin composition contains any one or both of: a thermoplastic resin containing an element having an unshared electron pair in a repeat unit and/or at an end; and an additive containing an element having an unshared electron pair.

  • Publication number: 20140231052
Abstract: Provided is a precoated fin material for heat exchangers that allows the construction of a fin structure in which frost formation at the time of heater operation can be prevented to the extent possible, and under such a condition that condensation is liable to occur on a fin surface, a water droplet of condensed water can be quickly removed by bringing the water droplet into contact with a hydrophilic film, and as a result, a favorable heat exchange function can be maintained without any increase in ventilation resistance. Also provided is a heat exchanger including such fin structure.

  • Patent number: 5916635
Abstract: This invention relates to water-based hydrophilic coatings suitable for giving hydrophilicity primarily to the surface of aluminum and to a process for manufacturing precoated fin materials for heat exchangers with use of said coatings. The coatings are composed of colloidal silica with a dispersed particle diameter of 5 to 100 nm, water-soluble polymers containing at least carboxylic acid polymers, anionic surfactants and water; the colloidal silica and the water-soluble polymers are present at a weight ratio of 30:70 to 70:30 on a solid basis in a combined content of 4 to 20% by weight, the content of carboxyl group in the carboxylic acid polymers contained in the water-soluble polymers is 20 to 63% by weight, the anionic surfactants are alkali salts of sulfosuccinic acid monoalkyl esters with alkyl groups containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms and present in an amount of 5 to 20% by weight of the combined solid content of the colloidal silica and the water-soluble polymers, and the pH is 1 to 5 as a whole.
