  • Publication number: 20240349644
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining operating parameters of an agricultural harvesting header device (4) by way of software-aided image evaluation (10) of image datasets (100) from an optical sensor (6) in evaluation electronics (8) aimed at an area (12) cultivated by the harvesting header device (4). The invention also relates to a harvester having a data processing device and to a computer program product. In order to develop a method in which an operating parameter is acquired and evaluated and which is better suited to assessing the operating quality of the agricultural harvesting header device and to optimizing the settings of the components thereof, it is proposed for the image evaluation (10) of the image datasets (100) generated by the optical sensor (6) to be aimed at at least approximately determining a value (102) of the number of lost grains (22) able to be identified in the image dataset (100) as operating parameter.

  • Patent number: 11533849
Abstract: An attachment for connection to a harvester comprises a plurality of picking devices (2) arranged next to each other and in a distributed manner along the working width. Each picking device (2) has a picking gap (6), below which are disposed at least two picking rotors (10) which can be driven to rotate in opposite directions, the picking rotors (10) being provided with flutes (12), which project in a radial direction beyond the rotor casing (16) and the enveloping circles (20) of which mesh with each other. To propose a way of easily adapting the picking rotors to different harvesting conditions without having to replace them all, the invention proposes for one or more shear bars (18) which are releasably connected to the picking rotor (10) and/or to the flutes (12) to be inserted in the intermediate space (22) between adjacent flutes (12) of a picking rotor (10), the shear bars filling portions of said intermediate space during a rotating movement of the picking rotors (10).

  • Patent number: 10779470
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device (2) for harvesting stalk-like stem crops, having a number of picking units (4) which are arranged alongside one another on the frame (6) of the device (2) and each have picking plates (12), laterally delimiting a picking gap (14), and picking rotors (16) located therebeneath, conveying units which are assigned to the respective picking units (4), are configured as continuous conveyors (22) that are driven in circulation, are arranged on opposite sides above a picking gap (14) and are configured with drivers (18) fastened to the circulating elements, and a transverse conveying device (8) arranged downstream of the conveying units.

  • Publication number: 20180242524
Abstract: The invention relates to a device (2) for harvesting stalk material, comprising a feed region, a conveyor device (4), a picking device, and a device which is arranged on a plane below the picking device for cutting stalks and has at least one cutter that rotates in a circulating manner on a horizontal or at least approximately horizontal plane. The aim of the invention is to provide a device with which the vegetable structure of the stubble pieces are damaged in addition to being cut such that bacteria and moisture can more easily penetrate the interior of a stalk piece, in particular stubble standing on the field. This is achieved in that at least one impact element (22) is formed on the cutter (18) which rotates in a circulating manner, said impact element rising over the thickness of the cutter blade.

  • Patent number: 9526206
Abstract: A header of a combine harvester has a center part connected by an attachment frame to the combine feed channel. A first side part with first lateral frame and a second side part with second lateral frame are adjustable for changing their position relative to the center part. The first and second lateral frames are connected by a first ball joint and a second ball joint to the attachment frame, respectively so that the weight of the first and second lateral frames is supported by the first and second ball joints on the attachment frame. The first and second ball joints form first and second pivot axes. An end of the first lateral frame facing away from the center part is pivotable about the first pivot axis. An end of the second lateral frame facing away from the center part is pivotable about the second pivot axis.
