Abstract: A package includes a package body having a top portion, a bottom portion, and side portions connecting the bottom portion to the top portion. The bottom portion and the side portions define a recessed cavity. The top portion includes an opening providing access to the recessed cavity and a plurality of flexible portions positioned at a periphery of the opening. The package further includes a peelable and resealable label adhesively sealed to the top portion of the package body to cover the opening. The opening is at least partially exposed upon peeling of the label allowing removal of a product received within the recessed cavity. During removal of the product from the package body, the flexible portions flex upwardly away from the recessed cavity upon engagement with the product.

The second ply comprises a pull tab comprising a first boundary adjacent the first edge, a second boundary opposing the first boundary, and a first adhesive deadener area. The second ply also comprises a first line of weakness adjacent the second boundary and positioned apart from the first adhesive deadener area. The first line of weakness is linear. The second ply further comprises a first stopping feature adjacent a first end of the first line of weakness and a second stopping feature adjacent a second end of the first line of weakness. Abstract: A package is described. This package comprises a first wall comprising a first multilayer film comprising a first wall exterior layer comprising metal foil and a first wall interior layer. The first multilayer film is thermally stable after exposure to temperatures greater than about 220° C. (425° F.). The package also comprises a second wall opposing the first wall. The second wall comprises a second multilayer film. The second wall is thermally stable after exposure to temperatures up to about 220° C. (425° F.). The first multilayer film is configured to form a hermetic seal with the second multilayer film. Various embodiments of the package are also described. In some embodiments, the first multilayer film is configured to be placed adjacent the heat source of a grilling apparatus and the second multilayer film is configured to be placed opposite the heat source of a grilling apparatus.

Abstract: Thermoformed trays comprising ribs retain individual food products in place. The individual food products are generally elongate and prone to displacement during handling. The formed trays comprise: a base; a plurality of sidewalls integrally formed with and extending from the base, the base and sidewalls defining an interior cavity having a cavity width; a plurality of pairs of ribs integrally formed with and extending from first and second opposing sidewalls into the interior cavity, and a plurality of channels positioned between and separating adjacent ribs, wherein each channel of an adjacent pair of ribs defines an individual food product receiving slot. Each rib may extend into the interior cavity a length that is at least about 7% of the cavity width.
