  • Patent number: 5379482
Abstract: A cleaning system for textile machines is comprised of two essentially identical travelling cleaners which can travel separately from one another along a line of textile machines, each of which has a boat-shaped suction nozzle which engages with a stationary suction duct and which is sealed by two sealing lips abutting against the suction nozzle. The suction duct is attached to the suction side of at least one blower, the two essentially identical travelling cleaners engaging their suction nozzles in the suction duct. The suction duct has at least two connections at a distance from one another with which it is attached to the suction side of the at least one blower.

  • Patent number: 5367738
Abstract: A device for cleaning rows of machines, such as textile machines, which can travel along the machines and has a blower guided above the machines, whose pressure side is connected to a distributor station. At least two hoses are attached via connecting pieces to the distributor station which have different openings directed to the machines. A slider is located on the distributor station which distributes the air supplied to the distributor station in accordance with its position on the connecting pieces. A number of hoses can be attached to the device, and the hose to be charged with air can be easily selected by a slider which can travel along the row of connecting pieces. The slider has a through-hole which, when the slider is moved, successively coincides with the connecting pieces. A flexible hose which leads to the pressure side of the blower and surrounds the through-hole, is attached to the side of the slider facing away from the connecting pieces.

  • Patent number: 5353467
Abstract: A cleaning device for a row of textile machines has a duct extending along the textile machines, with a longitudinal slot which is covered by sealing lips on both sides and in which a boat-shaped nozzle of the cleaning device travelling on rollers engages. To avoid the need for rails for the cleaning device, the rollers are supported on the duct and the cleaning device is guided by the duct. The cleaning device is thus suspended from the duct. The duct is suspended via carriers from the ceiling. Flanged rollers that roll on the top of the duct are connected via vertical stays to the cleaning device which travels below the duct. The duct has the slot on its underside which is sealed by the sealing lips. The boat-shaped nozzle extends upwardly and engages the slot while spreading the sealing lips apart, the nozzle leading to a distributor box to which blast hoses are attached.
